Dai Suki Gold
45% Protein Floating pellet available in 4mm, 6mm and 11mm
HAS BEEN EXTENSIVELY RESEARCHED AND DEVELOPED TO PROMOTE THE GROWTH AND COLOUR OF KOI AND INCREASE THEIR IMMUNE SYSTEM.
Dai Suki Gold is a high protein, quality growth food that has been specially formulated to provide a balanced diet for Koi during the summer period, when there are higher water temperatures. Koi should be fed small amounts often, instead of one large amount, as this aides in water stability. It is best to only feed as much as can be consumed within a few minutes. As with all high protein growth foods, water quality needs to be monitored closely, for example; Ammonia, Nitrate and pH. For best results this food should be fed with water temperature in excess of 62 F and also with the addition of Supermin Plus Montmorillonite clay, which will aid in better digestion of food and the well being of the fish. This product is in the premiership of Koi foods as it containsall a Koi's daily requirements in protein (45%), Spirulina (12%), Fibre (2.8%), Oil (5%) and Ash (4.5%). Dai Suki Gold also contains extra vital vitamins and minerals including E, C, K, B1, B2, B6, B12, Calcium, Potassium, Sodium and Chloride. It has been produced in two great sizes which most Koi will love. Both the 6mm and the extra large 11mm are specially produced at no extra cost and wonderful for hand feeding.
NB: PLEASE NOTE DAI SUKI GOLD IS A GROWTH FOOD AND SHOULD NOT BE USED IS YOUR WATER TEMPRETURE IS BELOW 50 F / 10 C
FEED AS MUCH AS YOUR FISH WILL CONSUME WITHIN A FEW MINUTES
REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR WATER QUALITY INCLUDING AMMONIA, NITRATE AND pH

DAI SUKI ALL SEASONS
28% protein floating wheatgerm pellet available in 4mm
28% protein sinking wheatgerm pellet available in 4mm
PRODUCED TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD, THIS WHEATGERM FOOD HAS BEEN SPECIALLY FORMULATED TO PROVIDE A BALANCED DIET FOR KOI DURING THE SPRING AND AUTUMN MONTHS.
This food should be fed sparingly to start with and as the filters start to mature, their feed should be increase as the water temperature rises. As with all Koi it is not advisable to feed below 47 F/ 8 C in small ponds as the Koi's metabolism slows down below this temperature and the Koi will have difficulty digesting the food.
However, it may be fed at all normal temperatures above 47 F/ 8 C and even during high sumer if required, although higher protein feeds are more suitable as this is the Koi's growing period. As the water temperature cools during the Autumn period, Koi should be slowly introduced back onto wheatgerm food for as long as possible whilst the water temperature is 8 C and above. The reasoning for the 47 F / 8 C barrier is due to that in small ponds the water temperature can suddenly fall at night by more than 2 C which takes the water temperature below the absolute minimum feeding temperature for Koi which is 46 F / 7 C and below this any food eaten cannot be digested which will result in digestion problems for the Koi later on. |

Dai Suki Royal
54% Protein Sinking Pellet available in 3mm & 6mm
HAS BEEN DEVELOPED AS A HIGHLY DIGESTIBLE AND A HIGH IN PROTEIN FOOD FOR THE RAPID GROWTH OF SMALL FISH.
Dai Suki Royal is a new generation starter feed for small Koi founded on thorough research and widely tested under commercial conditions. Dai Suki Roayl fully exploits the Koi's growth potential during the critical early period.
It has a high digestible protein and energy content in a ratio that has been carefully adjusted to allow for maximum growth performance. The primary protein source is quality fish meal. It has been formulated to principles where the requirement for all essential amino acids is met while minimising those amino acids in excess. Natural palatabilty enhancers have also been added to the feed. The crumbled nature of the diet allows a slow release of these flavours with consequential stimulation of the feeding response. The food is designed to be clean and dust free with high water stability and a slow rate of sinking.
Dai Suki Royal has a slow sinking speed due to its high buoyancy. This means that the feed remains in the water column for longer, giving it a better distribution of feed particles in the pool, which should give more uniform fish, lower feed waste and less fin wear.
Small fish have an underdeveloped specific immune system. This food contains glucans and extra vitamin C, which research has shown stimulates the non-specific immune system. There is also a natural source of Astaxanthin, which has shown to positively influence growth and coupled with lactoferin this food will enable small fish to fight off infection better.
PLEASE NOTE DAI SUKI ROYAL IS A HIGH GROWTH FOOD AND SHOULD NOT BE FED TO FISH IN TEMPERATURES LESS THAN 17 C / 62 F.
FEED AS MUCH AS YOUR FISH WILL CONSUME WITHIN A FEW MINUTES AND REMEMBER TO CHECK WATER QUALITY PARAMETERS PERIODICALLY INCLUDING AMMONIA, NITRATE AND pH.

FRY FOOD
60% Protein Fine granular feed in 250gram Jars
GRANULAR KOI FRY FOOD HAS ALL THE ESSENTIAL VITAMINS AND MINERALS FRY NEED IN THE EARLY STAGES OF LIFE.
All growing Koi fry need warm and safe water to grow in and should really be removed from your Koi pond, and kept in a tank where they can be monitored and looked after. They will require extremely good water and if possible maintained between 75 F to 80 F. Only a small amount of food is required to start with and if fed in a contained area a small feeding ring will help stop any waste feed or over feed contaminating the water.
It is possible once fry have developed into small Koi, approx 2cm long, then it may be useful to supplement their food with Dai Suki Gold 11mm. As the pellet softens many small Koi will feed at once taking little bits from a big pellet, giving them the nourishment they require whilst providing you with a little entertainment.
If you have any questions as to which feed is more suitable for your Koi, please email us or see advice page. |

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
30g (approx 1 heaped dessertspoon) per 1000 gallons of pond water. Place appropriate amount of powder into a clean container and add half a gallon of pond water. Mix thoroughly until all powder is dissolved and distribute around the pond. This product dissolves completely in water and leaves virtually no sediment. Based on the above weekly rate of 30 grams per 1000 gallons, 2 KG will approximately remineralise 1250 gallons for 12 months and 4 KG will remineralise 2500 gallans for 12 months.

Supermin Plus
Powdered Clay, Available in 4 KG, 10 KG, 25 KG
MONTMORILLONITE CLAY
What is Montmorillonite?
Montmorillonite is a mineral clay formed over millions of years by the weathering of rocks, which contains many different minerals and residuals of volcanic ash and was named after its discovery in Montmorillon, France.
Why do we use Montmorillonite in our ponds?
A pond is an enclosed environment and as such lacks the relavent minerals that exist in natural streams and ponds. By replacing these minerals in their natural form, for example by using Montmorillonite, we will not only give our fish a general tonic but will also enhance colour and lustre. It will also help with the digestion of food, reduce fish waste and contributes to the reduction of other organic wastes held within the pond water.
Supermin Plus Montmorillionite clay contains Zeolite, which when used on a regular basis, aids the filtration process by ion exchange and creating a better, more natural environment for our fish.
Adding Montmorillionite minerals to the water will help buffer the pH. The addition of these minerals will also improve skin and bone structure as it is used whilst the fish are growing or maintaining a healthy body.
Supermin Clay may also be used with Dai Suki pellets as a treat to make a mud food ball. Mix with as little water as possible and drop into the pond away from an bottom drains.
The feeding Koi will then ingest the mud as they do when naturally feeding in the wild mud ponds. It may take a few attempts to start with this unfamilar way of feeding, but they are fast learners where food is concerned.

First Start
1 Litre Bottle
A BRAND NEW WAY TO SOLVE THE DREADED NEW POND SYNDROME.
Just add First Start to any new pond (without fish) to stimulate the presence of fish and start the nitrogen cycle. We recommend a treatment of 40 days so that the important and troublesome first six weeks are a hassle free time whilst not posing any risk to the health of your fish due to excess ammonia and nitrate levels in the water. We recommend a rate of 25mls per 1000 litres of pond water per day for 40 days and to use this product in conjunction with Filtabac.
The purchase and use of ammonia and nitrate test kits are recommended so that the pond owner will know when it is safe to introduce the fish. |

Filta Bac
1 Litre Bottle
REDUCES AMMONIA & NITRATE
In any enclosed fishpond system we need to encourage the rapid colonisation of the filter media because our fishes lives depend on it. As our fish swim around in their environment , they excrete waste into the water in the form of urine and solids, which produce ammonia, as well as ammonia from their gills.
This ammonia, if left untreated, can quickly build up and will burn and damage the gills of the fish. If this condition is left for an extended period the result can be death of some or all of the fish in the pond.
Nature has provided a way for ammonia in the water to be removed by way of the nitrification process. This is where the addition of Filta Bac as a starter and or maintenance dose, helps nature get the upper hand by introducing the first group of cultured nitrifying bacteria into the filter media. The most important of these bacteria are Nitrosomanas which converts ammonia by oxidation into nitrite. Although this substance is still toxic to the fish, there is a second cultured group of nitrifying bacteria Nitro-bacta which again acting through the oxidation method, converts these harmful nitrites into much less harmful nitrates.
Filta bac may be used alongside First Start, where there are no fish present. ie when starting a new pond.
The dosage rate for filta bac is 25mls of filta bac per 1000 litres on day one, then 10mls per 1000 litres on days 2-6 and finally 5mls per 1000 litres there after.
Filta Bac can continued to be used after the first 40 days although regularly monitoring water parameters, including ammonia, nitrate and pH, is highly recommended.
For those wishing to start very large ponds please contact your nearest dealer to bulk purchase First Start and Filta Bac. |

Chloramine T
Available 100g pots
This product is recommended for use as an antibacterial disinfectant. The suggested application rate for Chloramine T is 10g (grams) per 4500 litres (1000 gallons) and may be repeated on 2 consecutive days as a 2 day treatment. It is advised to follow the instructions on the label carefully.
See advice page.
If a DIP TEST has been carried out and the results show a high bacterial count in the water or the fish have ulcers which could also be an indication of a high bacterial presence in the water, then the use of Chloramine T would be recommended.
Chloramine T can also be used if there is a slight water quality problem but it is also advisable to conduct a substatial water change before introducing any treatment into the pond. A water quality problem would refer to the presence of ammonia, nitrate or the pH level below 6.5 or above 9.0. The ideal pH for our ponds should be 7.5 with ammonia and nitrate levels as close to zero as possible.
Chloramine T is ideally used as a preventative treatment and should be used on a regular basis of 3 - 4 times a year, which will reduce background bacteria populations in the pond giving much improved water quality, and combined with daily or weekly water changes will have even greater results on your fishes health, growth and the stability of the pond. |
